International Pacific University, Japan
International Pacific University (IPU Japan), established in 2007 in Okayama city, Japan, is a sister university of IPU New Zealand. Although a newly established university, it is already known for its success in the education and sporting fields. IPU’s Faculty of Sustainable Education for Future Generations is the first of its kind in Japan and is successfully training a growing number of certified pre-school, primary, and secondary school teachers. The Faculty of Physical Education boasts highly qualified academic staff including Olympic Gold medalists and former professional athletes.

20-week Exchange Programme with IPU in Okayama, Japan

Every year, students from IPU New Zealand and IPU Japan participate in the two-way exchange programme, which allows credit transfers between the two institutions. Exchange students can enjoy a variety of character-building experiences, by meeting and forming relationships with new people and immersing themselves in cultural activities.

Through the Exchange Programme with IPU Japan, IPU New Zealand Students can:

Improve Japanese language and intercultural communication skills
Bring experiences back to NZ as academic credits toward their IPU New Zealand degree
Gain teaching experience if studying toward a teaching qualification
Develop sporting abilities in leading-edge facilities

Whitireia is a government owned and funded tertiary institute of technology, known for its high student success rates and culturally diverse student body.

Established in 1986, on the shores of the Porirua harbour, Whitireia has grown to become the tertiary institution of choice for over 6,200 students (over 3,440 equivalent full-time students), who study at one of our contemporary campuses in Porirua, Wellington, Kāpiti and Auckland. Over 135 programmes of study are offered at certificate, diploma, degree, postgraduate and masters levels. All programmes have been developed in conjunction with industry to offer excellent applied qualifications; all approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

NZQA has given Whitireia a Highly Confident rating for educational performance and for capability in self-assessment, making Whitireia a Category 1 institution.

Since 2012, Whitireia has been working with WelTec to provide the best possible choices for students in the Wellington region and beyond. This partnership is driven by a commitment to put students first, by providing more choice, more opportunities and improved experiences.

We are proud to introduce UUNZ, a well-established Business School in New Zealand. Situated near the heart of Auckland city, it offers internationally recognised programmes in conjunction with the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. UUNZ was founded in the year 2002, initially offering English language programmes, gradually progressing to delivering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

If you’re looking for a new career path, there are plenty of exciting and growing industries looking for great people – creative industries, IT, tourism, hospitality, trades and many more – but you need specialist skills to qualify.

That’s where we can help. We work in partnership with industry leaders to ensure our programmes will equip you with the skills and knowledge to take you into the future.

At New Education Group hands-on training is a key part of our programmes – you can develop your skills in our specialist campus facilities then practice them in the workplace through internships with our industry partners.

Our campuses across New Zealand are all ranked Category 1 – the highest accreditation awarded to training providers, which ensures you learn the practical skills you need, to land the job you want.
College registration and qualification information
New Education Group, ACG Education’s vocational and higher learning division, operates six Category 1, registered Private Training Establishments (PTEs). These PTEs operate a number of colleges in the market place.

Each of the six PTEs awards its own qualifications. Course qualifications from each college are awarded as follows:

NZMA New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) is a Category 1 provider, and as the registered PTE, awards all of the qualifications offered by Academy NZ
New Zealand School of Tourism (NZST) is a Category 1 provider, and as the registered PTE, awards all of the qualifications offered by Cut Above Academy and Elite School of Beauty & Spa
Animation College New Zealand is a Category 1 provider, and as the registered PTE, awards all of the qualifications offered by Yoobee School of Design, AMES – The Institute of IT and South Seas Film & Television School
